The impact of arts-inclusive programs on young children’s mental health and wellbeing: a rapid review
This review examines the effects of arts-inclusive programs (AIPs) on the mental health and wellbeing of young children. It found that activities involving music, art, and storytelling/drama positively impacted children’s wellbeing. However, most studies were of low quality, and outcome measures varied. The review highlights a lack of high-quality research on the link between AIPs and children’s wellbeing, particularly for those aged 0–6.
